Our Aim
Is to provide learners with guidance, skills and knowledge to perform as best as they can and provide them with the competence and confidence to carry out treatments for their clients at the highest level achievable.
This is also the reason why we are not currently offering medical injectables courses such as Botox and Fillers due to uncertainty in the current UK government regulation.We understand that these treatments are unregulated, and there is confusion over who should provide these treatments.
Given the nature of the substances injected, they need to be administered by a medical professional in a clinic environment under medical supervision. Consequently, we do not offer this training at the moment.
However, we understand that the UK government is conducting a consultation and plans to publish a licensing scheme to regulate these treatments. If the government allows non-medical professionals to administer the treatments, we will be prepared to launch these courses.
All of our training courses are taught by industry professionals with extensive non-medical and medical aesthetics backgrounds, as it is extremely important that our students are learning from role models who can pass on valuable skills and knowledge in non-invasive treatments.

1. VTCT Level 2 Facial and Skincare Course
The VTCT Level 2 Facial and Skincare Course is accredited by OFQUAL (UK Education Governing Body) and fully recognised by the beauty industry, insurance providers, and local councils for licensing purposes.
Ray Cochrane Beauty Aesthetics Academy has introduced the VTCT Level 2 Facial and Skincare Courses for students who want to take a facial course in London. You don’t need any beauty therapy qualifications or experience to take this aesthetic skincare course, and it’s okay if you are a total beginner. All you need is a passion for helping people and a desire to specialise in aesthetic courses in facial and skincare treatments.
This course covers 3 units:
- Facial Massage and Skincare
- Health, Safety and Hygiene of the workplace
- Client Care, Communication and Salon Reception Duties
Upon completing this government-approved facial skincare course, you will be able to work for beauty clinics, spas, hotels, and more. You will also be in a position to promote yourself with your own website and on social media as an accredited skincare expert.

2. VTCT Level 3 Facial Electrotherapy and Fast Track Courses
Once you’ve successfully finished your Level 2 Facial & Skincare course, the next logical step in your professional development would be to enrol in our VTCT Level 3 Facial Electrical course.
This course is particularly beneficial as it broadens your practical skill set, enabling you to provide a larger variety of facial and skincare treatments. It also deepens your theoretical knowledge, with a strong focus on subjects such as Dermatology, Microbiology, and Microdermabrasion.

7. Mesotherapy Training – Full Day CPD Accredited Course
If you hold a Level 3 qualification or are a medical practitioner, you have the opportunity to enrol in our full-day Mesotherapy Continuing Professional Development (CPD) course.
Mesotherapy is a non-surgical, minimally invasive treatment that involves superficial injections of serums into the skin. These serums may contain a variety of peptides, enzymes, hormones, vitamins, and botanical extracts.

8. VTCT (ITEC) Fibroblast Level 4 Plasma Pen Course
The VTCT (ITEC) Level 4 Award in Plasma Pen Techniques is a brand new aesthetic beauty qualification designed for Level 3 qualified practitioners aged 18 and over, who wish to add Plasma Pen Techniques to their range of treatment offerings.
This qualification covers all necessary components to become a fully qualified Plasma Pen practitioner, aligning with both national and international aesthetic beauty standards.
In this qualification, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of the requirements, regulations, and safe practice treatment protocols for plasma pen techniques. You will also acquire the knowledge and skills needed to consult with clients, provide specific aftercare, and offer home care advice.
The unit entitled: Enhance appearance using plasma pen techniques includes learning how to:
- Reduce fine lines

We spent our first week at the old location and then continued learning at their new location just down the road. The new location has much more daylight and is a lot less crowded. Overall a great experience.
The Level 2 and 3 courses provided a strong foundation, and the Level 4 course, despite presenting a few minor challenges and communication issues, was still enriching. The knowledge gained has been great. I am definitely considering enrolling in another course at some point! 😊
Overall an amazing school with the most knowledgeable teacher I've come across in all my courses - Eleonora. Eleonora truly is a gem, extremely patient, kind and able to answer every question.
Missing 5th star as school definitely needs new space as school is very outdated, not very well kept, crowded with items, often missing such simple things as hand soap etc. Having said that, if I would choose to continue my learning, I would go for Ray Cochrane again.
