Level 4 Microneedling training course is suitable for those who have medical training and want to add advanced aesthetic procedures to their treatments offering.
The Level 4 Skin Needling course will train students, in the national standards, to work as a fully qualified skin needling therapist. This includes learning and understanding the safety concerns when providing skin needling treatments. Through the completion of the certificate, learners will refresh their knowledge of the relevant anatomy and physiology for level 4 aesthetic treatments.
Upon successful completion of the Level 4 Skin Microneedling training course, students can complete cosmetic skin needling treatments professionally!
What will you learn?
As with any of our advanced aesthetic courses, students will study all health and safety considerations needed to perform skin needling treatments.
To ensure that students on our Level 4 Microneedling course are qualified to provide cosmetic skin peeling treatments, they complete both practical and theoretical learning:
- How to successfully carry out client consultations – explaining the treatment, contraindications, possible reactions, carrying out patch testing, and the side effects.
- Post-treatment consultation – the importance of sun protection after treatment along with a follow-up treatment plan.
- Perfect your customer service and client communication skills increasing your employability prospects.
- You will carry out treatments on live models provided by our academy.
- Learn how to prepare the client safely and ethically and determine that the working environment is ready and the equipment is sterile
- Understand what the correct PPE is for aesthetic technicians and of course, the skin needling process.
- Learn how to choose the correct needle size.
- Determine the length and strength of the client’s treatment and monitor their reaction.
To obtain the VTCT Certificate in Level 4 Microneedling course, you need to learn the following 4 units
- 1 Principles and practice of cosmetic skin needling aesthetic treatments
