Course Outline

This course builds upon the knowledge gained from the VTCT Level 4 Skin Peeling qualification.
It instructs students on the national and international standards needed for safely conducting superficial chemical peels.

Students will learn how to:

  • Appraise the safety considerations when providing superficial skin peeling treatments
  • Appraise accepted protocols and guidelines for providing superficial skin peeling treatments
  • Analyse the uses, limitations, benefits and effects of superficial skin peeling products
  • Formulate consultation, planning and preparation protocols for superficial skin peeling
    treatments
  • Demonstrate proficiency in application of superficial skin peeling treatments

To complete the Level 5 Award In Skin Peeling Treatments,
the learner must achieve the mandatory unit:
