On the accredited VTCT Level 5 tattoo removal training, students learn to use Q Switched laser equipment, including Ruby, Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, and frequency doubled Nd:YAG to remove their client’s tattoos successfully. Alongside understanding how these machines remove tattoos, trainees learn to clear tricky tattoo ink colours such as blue, black, red and green on different skin colours.
As with all the courses at Ray Cochrane, on the laser tattoo removal training course, we will train students to the highest criteria of the aesthetic industry based on employer and occupational standards. The expected standard includes developing their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy, physiology, and health and safety of level 5 aesthetic therapies. They will also learn how to transfer their client consultation skills to laser tattoo removal so they can analyse and advise clients accurately. Alongside developing their communication and customer service skills and widening their knowledge of the principles and practices of aesthetic therapies, all of which employers value highly.
