Our Academy in the heart of Baker Street
An Easy Commute – That’s Elementary.
We believe learning should be stress-free from start to finish, which includes getting here as well. Our Academy location offers excellent connectivity through multiple transport links such as buses and tube stations like Baker Street station just minutes away by foot. You’ll find it easy to navigate even if you’re new to London after all, 'getting lost' isn’t part of our curriculum. But let's get into specifics.
BY TUBE
If you're coming by tube, we're just a stone's throw away from Baker Street Station. Exit thestation, take a left onto Baker Street itself and keep walking for about 3 minutes until you see our academy on your right-hand side.
BY BUS
Buses are another convenient way to reach us. Several bus routes including numbers 13, 18, 27and others stop near us. You can use this handy bus route finder for precise directions.
PARKING NEAR US
If you prefer driving over public transport but worry about parking – fear not. There are several car parks nearby such as Q-Park Oxford Street or NCP London Marylebone Road Car Park that offer reasonable rates throughout the day. Check out their web pages to get more info.
ULEZ AND CONGESTION CHARGES
Keep in mind that to drive to our location you will need to pay a Congestion Charge, Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) and/or the Low Emission Zone depending on what vehicle you are driving. Your number plate (Vehicle Registration Mark) will tell you which charges you need to pay. Plan ahead so you know when best to travel without paying extra. Check TFL’s official site for more details about Ulez and congestion charges.
ACCOMMODATION AROUND US
If you're traveling to us and need accommodation, there are a multitude of nearby hotels for a convenient stay. You can also find more affordable accommodation around various boroughs of London as our location is very easy to reach via public transport. Check Booking.com to find a suitable stay for your needs.

Since 1954, we have been offering exceptional education in beauty therapy courses provided by our highly qualified professional lecturers in a safe, modern, encouraging, and supportive training environment. We can train total beginners looking to embark on a brand new career in the exciting beauty industry, as well as therapists who have already trained and wish to update their skills. Ray Cochrane is a multi-award-winning Beauty training academy.
1. Beauty Therapy Courses
We offer a variety of accredited and insurable beauty therapy courses, including Level 2 Beauty Therapy, Level 3 Beauty Therapy and a Combined Level 2 & 3 Beauty Therapy course from prestigious accredited institutions. Our courses are available on a part-time basis on weekends and evenings, as well as full-time, allowing you to become fully qualified and ready for the industry. In addition to our classroom-based courses, we also have online beauty therapy courses. Our online VTCT ITEC Level 3 Anatomy and Physiology course provides knowledge about the anatomical structures and physiological functions of the body.2. Laser and Skin Courses
Our beauty academy in London offers advanced aesthetic courses for individuals interested in improving their skills and pursuing a career in skincare and advanced skin aesthetics. The courses include Level 2 & 3 Facial, laser/IPL training, chemical skin peel, skin needling and mesotherapy.3. Nail Technician and Microblading Courses
If you are interested in pursuing a career as a nail technician or an eyebrow microblading artist, we offer courses tailored to your needs. The nail technician course is one of the fastest-growing career paths in the beauty sector. The VTCT Level 2 & 3 Nail Tech Diploma is widely accepted for licensing purposes by all London boroughs and other local authorities in the UK. You can achieve this fully accredited NVQ nail qualification in just 19 weeks. Our Level 4 Certificate in Microblading course at Ray Cochrane Beauty School is highly popular among students. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a highly sought-after internationally recognised Level 4 certificate.
