What you will learn?
The complete beginner route for practical facial skills and future aesthetics progression
This combined programme is for learners who want more than the direct Access qualification alone. It includes both the VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Access to Aesthetic Therapies and the VTCT Level 3 Award in Facial Electrotherapy.
Together, the two qualifications cover manual facial foundations, skin analysis, consultation, anatomy, physiology and pathology, electrical science and practical machine-based facial treatments. This makes the combined course our broadest Level 3 beginner skill-set route and prepares learners for clinic work as well as suitable Level 4 aesthetics progression.
Key areas of study include:
Manual Facial Treatments – Master the entire professional facial routine from skin analysis to cleansing to massage.
Electrical Facial Treatments – Incorporate advanced treatments such as high-frequency, micro-current, galvanic high-frequency, suction, and lymph drainage for enhanced skin rejuvenation.
Anatomy & Physiology – Gain an in-depth understanding of the whole body’s systems, including the integumentary, skeletal, cardiovascular, lymphatic, and more.
Students will combine practical skills learnt on live models with advanced skin theory. This course equips students to treat various skin concerns, such as decreased facial definition, slower collagen production, and puffiness.

The collation of the assessments will be contained in a portfolio which will contain all document feedback sheets and written assessments/projects/assignments.
